Our workshop’s branded armor is built on over 90 years of tradition. From machine stitching to the finest finishing touches, every piece is carefully handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail.

The brand has earned a strong reputation among All Japan Championship competitors and law enforcement practitioners, and is trusted throughout the kendo community. It has been used by many of Japan’s most accomplished athletes in the past. Each set is crafted by experienced artisans at Nippon Kendo Equipment Manufacturing, drawing on the highest level of Japanese craftsmanship. Today, the armor is recognized as one of the finest traditionally made kendo armor brands in Japan.

IBB duralumin men-gane, Naname Sashi stitching on the men padding, navy synthetic leather on chin and edges, 5.5mm × 4mm stitching pitch, cotton inner lining.

Kote:
5.5mm × 4mm stitching pitch, fully reinforced kote body made with woven fabric, tenouchi brown micro perforated, 2-hon kazari with namako style fittings, navy synthetic leather edging.

Dō:
50-pon Jushi (resin) Do Dai, Japanese-made core material, hand-stitched decorative chest design, hand-finished accents.

Tare:
5.5mm × 4mm stitching pitch, pure indigo woven fabric, 4-dan kazari, navy synthetic leather on edges, corners, and stitching reinforcements.
