KIRI BOKKEN - MADE IN JAPAN

Crafted in Japan, the Miyakonojo bokken has been a designated prefectural traditional craft since 1984, meticulously created using oak and isu-noki trees from the Kirishima Mountains. The skilled craftsmen use dozens of different types of planes to produce swords that reflect their expertise and dedication to quality. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for practicing form over strength while doing Suburi, and it is highly recommended for practitioners with injuries or impairments that require a lighter Bokuto. Please note that this is not a standard Bokken and is not suitable for contact or Kata practice where impacts are received.
