Itadaki Kuro bogu set

This is a premium bogu set made with quality and precision. The fit is excellent for my young kendo student and will last for many years to come.

Great first bogu

I wanted to put this set to use for a while before leaving a review.
You wouldn't be able to tell this is a budget set, all it's pieces look and feel high quality. I got this as my first Bogu so I wasn't sure what to expect, but ended up pleasantly surprised.
The Kote took 3 or 4 uses before it unstiffened and adjusted to my hand. The men fits well, thanks to the amount of options I could get the exact fit for my head and when it's fastened properly it doesn't flop or move, and the men itself isn't too heavy, visibility is also good.
Came with all the Himo needed, didn't need to buy anything separately.
Honestly, even if money isn't a concern, I would still highly recommend this set, it does everything it needs to do right.

When you want something nice and do not have a fortune to spend

Two of Kilikai's adult beginners wanted to own their own bogu and we advised against going for cheapest option. On the other hand being students they did not have unlimited funds. The ITADAKI KURO hit that spot perfectly.
You get very good value for money and you look GOOD. Especially the kote and men deserves a separate mention. Both fit very well and both our students are extremely pleased with the wide selection of sizes for the men.
Since we only recieved the bogu a week ago it is too early to talk about durability. What we can say, however, is that we will be getting ITADAKI KURO - bogu next time we stock up on beginners bogu.
The bogu arrived carefully wrapped and packed so as to avoid damage during transport. We only regret not buying a bag to go along with the set.
Also a great thanks goes to the ever positive customer support for helping us fullfill the order smoothly.
