Two of Kilikai's adult beginners wanted to own their own bogu and we advised against going for cheapest option. On the other hand being students they did not have unlimited funds. The ITADAKI KURO hit that spot perfectly.
You get very good value for money and you look GOOD. Especially the kote and men deserves a separate mention. Both fit very well and both our students are extremely pleased with the wide selection of sizes for the men.
Since we only recieved the bogu a week ago it is too early to talk about durability. What we can say, however, is that we will be getting ITADAKI KURO - bogu next time we stock up on beginners bogu.
The bogu arrived carefully wrapped and packed so as to avoid damage during transport. We only regret not buying a bag to go along with the set.

This is my first Bogu set for myself and I am very pleased. I was worried that I may have issues with sizing, especially for the Men, but everything fits perfectly with no issues. The Kote is slightly tight but that's to be expected at first until breaking them in after a number of practices. I would highly recommend this set if you're looking for a first Bogu set, or as a spare set. It is light yet very sturdy. Everything has been very protective and I have not experienced any issues with this Bogu set. I would happily buy from All Japan Budogu again!
